Military: C-130 Tankers To Resume Firefighting

The military has decided to put seven C-130s on an indefinite “operational hold” as investigators look into what caused a deadly crash in South Dakota over the weekend. (AP)

Air Force C-130 tankers will resume firefighting flights Tuesday after a deadly crash of another tanker plane over the weekend, the U.S. Northern Command said.

Are home-based shelters really enough to hold back an F5 category tornado, which can have winds upwards of 300 miles per hour? And what about people who don’t have home-based shelters?
