It's Match Day For Medical Students – Including Undocumented Immigrants

March 18 is Match Day for medical students, the day where they learn the medical institution they’ve been matched with for residency. This is the first year that undocumented immigrants who applied openly to medical school are trying to match.

Jennifer Anyaegbunam, a University of Virginia medical student and an intern at STAT, tells Here & Now‘s Meghna Chakrabarti about the challenges these students face.
