New Hampshire Poll Has Independents Playing Major Role

A new WBUR poll of undeclared New Hampshire voters finds that many have yet to make up their minds about who to vote for – or even which party to support. The poll also found that the two candidates those voters like the most are Republican John Kasich and Democrat Bernie Sanders. (AP)

Undeclared voters play a crucial role in picking the winners in New Hampshire’s presidential primary. They represent nearly 44 percent of the state’s voters – more than either political party.

A new poll conducted by Here & Now contributor WBUR finds that New Hampshire independents view Democrat Bernie Sanders and Republican John Kasich more positively than any of the other candidates. WBUR’s Anthony Brooks reports.
