Sanctions on Iran may soon be lifted. Inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency are at Iran’s Arak nuclear reactor today to determine if Iran has removed certain parts of the core of the reactor, part of the requirements in this summer’s nuclear accord.

This comes the week that 10 American sailors were released after being detained overnight by Iranian authorities after their two patrol boats drifted into Iranian territorial waters in the Persian Gulf.

Here & Now‘s Robin Young checks in with Trita Parsi, president of the National Iranian American Council and author of “A Single Roll of the Dice, Obama’s Diplomacy with Iran.”
