2016 presidential hopefuls headed to the Republican Jewish Conference in Las Vegas this weekend, in hopes of courting casino owner Sheldon Adelson and other GOP big spenders.
Adelson spent $100 million in the 2012 election — $20 million of which was spent on losing Republican primary candidate Newt Gingrich.

NPR’s digital politics editor Charlie Mahtesian joins Here & Now’s Robin Young to discuss the conference, or as many are calling it, “The Sheldon Primary”.
