The University of Colorado Denver psychiatrist who treated alleged Colorado shooter James Holmes reportedly referred his case to the university’s threat assessment team.
The Denver Post and the ABC affiliate in Denver are both reporting that Dr. Lynne Fenton, cited in court documents as Holmes’ psychiatrist, called members of the university’s Behavioral Evaluation and Threat Assessment team in June. But the group took no action, because Holmes was in the process of dropping out of CU.
Holmes is accused of killing 12 people and injuring 58 others in the July 20 massacre at an Aurora theatre.
