A Closer Look At Mitt Romney’s Tax Records

Today in an editorial The New York Times joined voices calling on GOP hopeful Mitt Romney to release more of his tax returns and information about his finances saying Romney is tarnishing an important political tradition –one going back to the Watergate era, that Romneys father, George, followed. He released 12 years of tax returns in 1967 during his run at the White House.

Obama is not attacking wealthy people, he is attacking tax cheats.  Gov. Romney, show you have upheld your patriotic duty to pay your taxes…

I don’t have a problem with how much money Romney has. I have a problem with him thinking it is right and just to make $20+ million with out working ONE SECOND and legally pay a lower tax rate than people who bust their butts 40, 50, 60 hours a week to make just enough to feed and house the family.

How many jobs has Romney directly created with his one year $20M income? Right, a BIG FAT ZERO. He has no business, he has no employees, he is NOT a job creator, he produces no goods or services. And the same is true for most of the 1%.
