SB 1070 Co-author Says Law’s ‘Heart And Soul’ Upheld

(AP)

Arizona State Representative John Kavanagh was a co-sponsor and one of the writers of Arizona’s controversial immigration law, SB 1070, and expressed relief over the Supreme Court’s decision that struck down three parts of the law, but upheld the controversial “show me your papers” provision.

“I’m very pleased that the key provision, the heart and soul of SB 1070, mandating police officers check into the immigration status of those they reasonably suspect of being in the country illegal, when practical to do so, was found Constitutional,” he told Here & Now‘s Robin Young.

“That was really what SB 1070 was all about. The other provisions were secondary.”

Don’t ever forget Brian Terry , Jaime Zapata and the
200 Mexicans killed by Obama’s Fast and Furious guns. Trying to get rid of the
2nd amendment is backfiring on them.  We’ll be counting more dead bodies while Obama
and Holder are trying to cover it up.

    Verse.

    Even though Fast and Furious
    Holder hasn’t read it

    If you’re an  American
, not Jihadi or Hamas  he’ll  discredit it

The Chief Organizer may not think a hard worker like Robert
    Krentz  a winner

A month after he died he had
a good laugh at the correspondence dinner

    He wants illegals  to
be able to vote some day

If they kill American heros like Brian Terry

    I guess that’s OK

Semper Fi Brian it’s a shame you had to fight with bean bags

Against Obama’s Fast and Furious bullets

The sequester budget cuts mean lower reimbursements for chemotherapy drugs for Medicare patients — a change that’s forcing some cancer clinics to turn away patients, in order to make ends meet.
