Last year, musician Rob Morsberger started getting excruciating headaches. It turned out he had brain cancer.
At the time, he was also completing his latest CD, “Ghosts Before Breakfast,” which is filled with songs that reflect on mortality, songs that were written before he even knew he was sick.
Morsberger has since had surgery to remove a brain tumor, and today he’s hoping for the best. Meanwhile, his music career is going at full throttle.
Besides his own work, he is featured on new CDs by Loudon Wainwright III and Patti Smith, as well as a new collaboration with Brad Roberts of the Crash Test Dummies.
