The former President of Liberia will find out Thursday if he’s been found guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity during the civil war in Sierra Leone in the 1990s.

Taylor pleaded not guilty to all 11 charges, including murder, rape, mutilations and the use of child soldiers.

The BBC’s Allan Little, who reported on the conflict, has returned to Sierra Leone to look at Charles Taylor’s legacy, and how the country has progressed since fighting ended.
