Is it possible to prepare for a natural disaster–like the wildfires in Texas, the floods in Pakistan and India, the earthquakes in Haiti and Japan or this year’s series of tornadoes in the U.S?
Jason Daley has some advice on where to start. He has written a survival guide for the apocalypse for Outside Magazine. And natural disasters aren’t the only things to watch out for, he says: wash your hands and know where your food comes from to protect against dysentery.
